Service Quality Report Card
Our Commitment to You
The Maine Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) established service standards with targets to measure our performance. Each service standard is explained below and we provide the target and our performance in 2023. This report comes after we submitted our Climate Change Protection Plan (CCPP) to the Maine PUC in December. The CCPP serves as our roadmap for identifying solutions to challenges presented to Maine’s power grid in the face of stronger, more frequent storms. Both reports are the result of LD 1959, An Act Regarding Utility Accountability and Grid Planning for Maine's Clean Energy Future, which was put forward by Gov. Janet Mills and passed by the Maine legislature in 2022.
“CMP has been reliably delivering electricity to Mainers for 125 years. As we work each day to build a smarter, stronger, more resilient grid, I know our employees will continue performing at the highest level on behalf of our customers.”
- Joe Purington, President & CEO, Central Maine Power
