Transmission System

We own an extensive network of transmission line corridors throughout our service territory

The ownership of the corridors varies between fee and easement, including pole rights. The corridors have a total length of 2,292 miles. The width of these corridors range from 75 feet to in excess of 500 feet. Some of these corridors include uncleared areas, and some do not have transmission lines on them.

Included in the 2,292 miles is a portion of Maine Electric Power Company's, (an affiliate of Central Maine Power Company) transmission line corridor extending from Windsor, Maine to Orient, Maine.
